Celebrities are under a lot of pressure to always say the right thing and avoid controversy. Of course, some stars are better at that than others. However, even the most polite A-listers can lose their cool from time to time. That’s exactly what happened in these brutal interviews in which actors were maybe a little too honest.

Carrie Fisher

Who doesn’t remember Carrie Fisher’s iconic gold bikini scene in Star Wars? Well, when it came time for the actress to reprise her role decades later, producers seemed confused about Fisher looking different than she did when she was 19.

The actress revealed on The Late Show With Stephen Colbert, “They want to hire part of me, not all of me. They want to hire about three-fourths. And so I have to get rid of the fourth somehow. The fourth can’t be with me.”

Daniel Radcliffe

Daniel Radcliffe grew out of his Harry Potter days a long time ago and has been taking on more mature roles for years. Yet, when the actor was promoting his movie Horns, a member of the Associated Press kept referring to him as an “unconventional romantic lead.”

Finally, Radcliffe asked why they thought that, and the journalist said they were used to thinking of him as Harry Potter. To which the actor aptly responded, “The male population has had no problem s–ualizing Emma Watson immediately.”

Jonah Hill

For some reason, Hollywood celebrates heavyset women but puts down heavyset men. Don’t believe us? Try reading an article about how Leonardo DiCaprio has aged, and then compare it to a piece about any female star of the same size.

Understandably, Jonah Hill was fed up with the double standard and decided to call it out. When an interviewer inappropriately asked, “Are you the fat guy in Hollywood still?” Hill responded with, “Do you have any other questions that are smart?”

Scarlett Johansson

Ah, Hollywood’s obsession with weight. Scarlett Johansson was understandably bored out of her mind when constantly being asked about her figure while promoting The Avengers. When questioned about her diet for the millionth time, the actress turned to her co-star Robert Downey Jr. and asked, “How come you get the really interesting existential question, and I get the rabbit food question?”

She then answered the interviewer, “Uh, yes…you’re training and doing all that stunt work, and so you eat a lot of green things. Next question.”
